About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Education, Research, and Innovation Perspectives (IJERIP) serves as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality, original research that critically examines and connects the domains of pedagogy, scholarly inquiry, and innovative practice. We welcome submissions that employ diverse methodologies (empirical, theoretical, conceptual, review) and address, but are not limited to, the following themes:

  • Innovative Teaching and Learning Methodologies

  • Educational Policy, Leadership, and Administration

  • Curriculum Development and Assessment

  • Technology Integration and Digital Pedagogy

Publication Schedule & Frequency

IJERIP maintains a rigorous monthly publication schedule:

  • Issues per Year: 12 monthly issues

  • Publication Dates: Last day of each month (January 31, February 28/29, March 31, etc.)

  • Volume Structure: Each calendar year constitutes one volume (e.g., Volume 1: 2024, containing Issues 1-12)

  • Submission to Publication Timeline: Articles accepted with revisions completed by the 15th of the month are scheduled for publication in the current month's issue. Articles accepted after the 15th are scheduled for the following month's issue.

  • Continuous Flow: While we maintain monthly issue deadlines, submissions are accepted year-round and processed through our peer-review pipeline continuously.

 

Open Access Policy

IJERIP is an open-access journal. This means:

  • All articles are immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy, and distribute.

  • The journal operates under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This allows others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given to the original author(s).

 

Copyright Notice

Authors retain copyright of their published work. By submitting to IJERIP, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and agree that their work is licensed under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Authors may enter into separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in IJERIP.

Peer Review Process

IJERIP employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity and quality:

  1. Initial editorial screening for scope, originality, and basic formatting (within 7 days).

  2. Assignment to at least two independent expert reviewers.

  3. Double-blind review period (reviewers and authors are anonymous to each other).

  4. Editorial decision based on reviewers' recommendations (Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, Reject).

  5. Authors submit revised manuscripts, which may be re-evaluated.
    The entire process, from submission to final decision, typically takes 4-8 weeks to align with our monthly publication schedule.

 

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

IJERIP is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. We adhere to the core practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our comprehensive policy covers responsibilities of editors, reviewers, and authors regarding:

  • Originality, plagiarism, and data fabrication/falsification

  • Authorship criteria and contributions

  • Conflicts of interest and funding disclosure

  • Confidentiality in the review process

  • Procedures for handling complaints and appeals, post-publication corrections, and retractions.

Archiving and Preservation

To guarantee the long-term preservation and availability of all published content, IJERIP is archived with:

  • LOCKSS: Our content is preserved in the Global LOCKSS Network, ensuring permanent and secure archiving.

  • CLOCKSS: We also participate in the CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) system, a sustainable, dark archive that triggers content access in the event of a catastrophic failure.
    Authors are also encouraged to self-archive pre-print and post-print versions in their institutional or subject repositories (e.g., arXiv, ERIC, etc.).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. The International Journal of Education, Research, and Innovation Perspectives (IJERIP) was founded in 2025 by Educators Research and Innovation Organization Inc. to address the growing need for a dedicated, interdisciplinary forum that bridges educational research with practical innovation. The journal is published by Educators Research and Innovation Organization Inc. and remains committed to its founding mission of fostering accessible, high-impact scholarship for the global educational community.

 

Indexing & Abstracting (To be updated as achieved)

IJERIP is in the process of applying for indexing in major databases, including but not limited to: Google Scholar, DOAJ, Zenodo, Openaire. We are committed to meeting the standards for inclusion in reputable academic indexes.
