Abstract

The study examined the relationships between various demographic profiles and professional profiles of respondents in the context of Saint Joseph's College of Baggao, the only Catholic school in the area offering higher education programs such as Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED). Using a descriptive-correlational design, data was collected and analyzed to identify significant associations between demographic variables such as age, sex, birth order, and degree earned, and professional factors including employment status, tenure of employment, training, and community engagement. Statistical analysis revealed several noteworthy findings; certain demographic profiles demonstrated significant relationships with professional outcomes, while others showed no clear correlation. Notable significant relationships included those between age and community engagement, sex and employment status, and professional licenses and community engagement. These findings highlighted the importance of certain demographic factors in influencing professional development within the educational context of Saint Joseph's College of Baggao. Moreover, recommendations based on the findings include the implementation of targeted training programs, mentorship initiatives, customized professional development plans, and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. These initiatives aim to address observed disparities and promote equitable opportunities for all employees. The study provides understandings into the complex interplay between demographic and professional profiles, contributing to the ongoing discourse on workplace equity and employee development, particularly in the unique setting of Saint Joseph's College of Baggao.
