This study aims to determine the stressors experienced by parents of learners with disabilities and identify the support mechanisms they utilize in coping with the challenges associated with caring for and supporting their children. Specifically, it seeks to examine the common sources of parental stress, the emotional, social, financial, and educational challenges encountered, and the different forms of support available to parents from family members, schools, communities, and other institutions. The study will employ a descriptive research design to gather relevant data from parents of learners with disabilities through an appropriate research instrument. The findings will be analyzed to determine the level and major sources of stress experienced by the respondents, as well as the effectiveness and availability of their existing support mechanisms. The results are expected to provide a clearer understanding of the needs and concerns of parents and the factors that influence their ability to cope with their responsibilities. Based on the findings, a proposed intervention measure will be developed to address identified parental stressors and strengthen existing support mechanisms. The intervention may serve as a basis for providing responsive programs and services that promote parental well-being, strengthen family support, and enhance the educational and developmental outcomes of learners with disabilities.
