Overcoming Academic Workload: Time Management Strategies of STEM 11 Students

This research examined the application of time management strategies among Senior High School students in the STEM strand in overcoming their academic workload. A qualitative research approach was employed, focusing on STEM students enrolled at St. Louis School of Don Bosco during the school year 2025–2026. The study utilized a purposive sampling design, and data were collected through interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi’s method of data analysis. Findings revealed that students face challenges in balancing academic priorities, often feeling overwhelmed, engaging in procrastination, and being distracted by technology. Despite these difficulties, some students cope effectively by employing planning and time management strategies to organize and complete their academic responsibilities. By examining these strategies, the study provides insights that can help students enhance their productivity, well-being, and overall academic performance.
