Abstract

This study engrossed on the effect of green practices of event organizers on their brand reputation in the Province of Pampanga. The research examined the selected event organizers, suppliers, and event participants involved in the province of Pampanga local events industry. A total of 270 respondents were selected using the method of stratified random sampling technique. In order to ensure proper representation of the stakeholders such as attendees, main clients, and event organizers/suppliers. Also, the researchers utilized a quantitative correlation research design and used the frequency, percentage, weighted mean, standard deviation, and pearson product-moment correlation were used to analyze the data and determine the relationship between green practices and brand reputation. The implementation of the green practices was attentively examined in a way of waste minimisation, energy efficiency, water consumption, and eco-procurement. This study strongly revealed that green practices among event organizers in Pampanga were generally highly practiced, particularly in waste minimisation, energy efficiency, and eco-procurement, while water consumption was moderately practiced. With that, the brand reputation of event organizers in the province of Pampanga was determined to be very favorable, indicating high levels of trust, credibility, and positive customer perception. Likewise, the study showed a strong positive relationship between green practices and their brand reputation. The variables of waste minimisation and eco-procurement demonstrated a moderate positive correlation, while the energy efficiency showed a moderate relationship and water consumption showed a weak but significant relationship. In conclusion, the study concluded that the consistent implementation of green practices enhances the brand reputation of event organizers in the province of Pampanga. The researcher’s results led to the recommendations of event organizers may strengthen sustainability initiatives, particularly in water management, to further improve their brand reputation and maintain competitiveness in the tourism and events industry.
