This study examined the effectiveness of scaffolded practice worksheets in strengthening Grade 11 students' mastery of correlation analysis. A school-based quasi-experimental pretest-posttest comparison-group design was used with 50 learners from two intact Statistics and Probability classes at Bobonan National High School, Pangasinan, Philippines. Twenty-five students in the intervention group used researcher-developed scaffolded worksheets over a two-week instructional period, while 25 students in the comparison group received the regular instructional approach. Mastery was measured using parallel 30-item researcher-made tests aligned with the targeted competencies; the instrument received an expert-validation rating of 4.80 and a reliability coefficient of .90. Both groups obtained an identical pretest mean of 10.56, and the baseline difference was not significant (t = 0.000, p = 1.000). After the intervention, the scaffolded-worksheet group obtained a mean of 26.80 (high mastery), compared with 17.88 for the comparison group (closely approaching mastery), with a significant between-group posttest difference (t = 20.060, p < .001). The intervention group gained 16.24 points, whereas the comparison group gained 7.32 points; both within-group changes were significant (p < .001). The findings indicate that structured, progressively reduced instructional support can strengthen students' performance in correlation analysis. Interpretation should remain cautious because the study involved a small, single-school sample, intact nonrandomized classes, and a short intervention period.
