This study focuses on the lived experiences of nurses performing end-of-life care to patients. The goal is to gain insights into the emotional, psychological, and professional challenges experienced by nurses while helping terminally ill patients, as well as how nurses cope with these factors and utilize supportive systems of care. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study will collect data from in-depth interviews of nurses involved in palliative care units. The results are anticipated to suggest themes of emotional burden, ethical dilemmas, communication with patients and families, and professional fulfillment. The study will help advance nursing practice, inform policy development, and further support care among healthcare professionals engaged in palliative care.
